Leaders - by words, by actions and by blood!

Leader is a concept that largely depend on perception of individual. But, yet many are accepted as leaders by most. These leaders have some distinctness in them which make them special. May that be their appearance, life style, words, works or name! Something in them makes them special!

Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the USA
Say for example, Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the USA is a man with fighting spirit. His story is known and often retold to tell people about his persistence of efforts in spite of heavy losses. Nervous Breakdown to losing elections at various level, he had plenty of failures. Yet he succeeded in becoming the US President.

Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. on the other side never had a big title officially, yet he rules the heart and mind of people across the world. The African-Americans did not have voting rights till late 1960's when Martin Luther fought for the equality and won the battle, at the cost of his own life.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Bharat Ratna, Missle Man of India and 11th President is a man of actions! He comes from a village which had no one flew in a plane before him. He worked with DRDO and ISRO for several years. Yet he became the President of the largest democracy in the world!

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
There are many notable leaders, who became leaders by virtue of their actions (Kalpana Chawla for example) or by their words (Swami Vivekanad for example) or by their blood (Indira Gandhi for example). You too can be one of them. Why not to give it a shot?? I strongly recommend you to read a book by Robin Sharma, "The Leader Who Had No Title".

Nelson Mandela
Sir Winston Churchill, an equal
